From 22 to 25 May at the Tanzfaktur Cologne
After two successful editions, the 2019 Kick-Off Festival for Scenic Texts took place May 22-25 at TanzFaktur Cologne. The NRW-wide theatre initiative Cheers for Fears and the Cologne literary series Land in Sicht joined forces to develop a three-day festival around the scenic text.
Students and young artists (from the fields of experimental film, singing, composition, performance, acting or scenography, among others) and young writers came together in Cologne to work on new texts during the first days of the festival and to present them on the evening of 25 May in the Tanzfaktur. The evening before, the authors of the texts gave an insight into their work with a reading in the Tanzfaktur.
