3 June 2022 at the Centre for Contemporary Dance Cologne
On the first Friday in June 2022, a Cheers for Fears Get-together finally took place again after a longer break. All interested artists and art (theory) students were cordially invited to join us visiting the Circus-Dance Creation Lab and a follow-up discussion at ZZT Cologne that was part of the Circus-Dance Festival. The performance showed the results of a three-week creation lab between students of the ZZT and the circus school ESAC in Brussels. Afterwards we sat down with wine and apple juice at the Morio to talk about current artistic projects and concerns. We presented new plans and ideas for the design of Cheers for Fears and gathered impulses from students of the Folkwang UdK from the fields of physical theatre and contemporary dance as well as students of the ZZT of the HFMT Cologne. Together we thought about new networking opportunities for the young art scene in North Rhine-Westphalia.
