Expert round in the Rottstraße on 10 May 2013
Cheers for Fears was intended to be the start of an extensive project that aims to encourage more intensive exchange between the various artistic universities in NRW. From the beginning, one focus was on the scenic arts and related art forms.
The primary goal is to strengthen networking among students in the country: Thus, there were dreams of a cross-university event newsletter, joint working visits, discussion forums at student festivals and the realisation of larger exchange platforms.
The diagnosis (“too little exchange”) and the resulting conceptual considerations were first discussed and critically reviewed together with all interested students of the (scenic) arts study programmes in NRW on an afternoon in R15 in Rottstraße Bochum.
