In 2021, TRANSIT was launched again to inspire artistic teams across disciplines to come up with their own creations. The focus was on interdisciplinary exchange. In this year, six artist collectives were given the opportunity to put their ideas up for discussion in a creative environment and, accompanied by colloquia and mentors, to (further) develop them in an intensive research process. The advanced students and graduates of the KHM Cologne, the CCD of the University of Music and Dance in Cologne, the art academies in Münster and Düsseldorf, the Folkwang University of the Arts and the Scenic Research at the Ruhr University in Bochum presented the results of their research in the form of performances, installations and films.
