Curation and programme planning of venues, festivals and event series
On 25.11.2017, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., as part of the Zeitzeug_ Festival at Neuland Bochum
Curation and programming respond to urgent questions confronting artistic practice today: what form does my concern / my art, require? How do I involve local collaborators? How can I draw lines of connection in terms of content and aesthetics, but also draw attention to differences?
In this workshop, participants from different generations met and presented ideas and event concepts to each other that they would like to realise or had already realised. Festivals, encounters, city tours – there were also impulses beyond classical theatre productions. We used the knowledge of the participants and the speakers to further think about the concepts they had brought with them, to give tips and to make new connections.
The event was organised as part of the “weiterkommen!” programme of the Landesbüro Freie Darstellende Künste and the Zeitzeug_ Festival.
Speakers: Robert Damaschke, Viviane Lennert (Zeitzeug_Festival), Fanti Baum and Olivia Ebert (Theatre Festival FAVORITEN 2018), Samira Yildirim (Academy of Fine Arts Munich), Tatjana von der Beek (Prosanova Festival for Young Literature 2017)
Moderation: Sina-Marie Schneller, Jascha Sommer
